Bugsnag

Set up

To set up the Bugsnag integration:

  1. In Bugsnag, open up a project and select Settings
  2. From the project settings, click through to the Integrations section.
  3. Select Webhook
  4. Next, visit the Account Management - Integrations page in Steady, and copy the payload URL listed there under the Bugsnag panel.
  5. Add a new Webhook using the payload URL from Steady
  6. Save the webhook

Once you have it hooked up, look for events on the Activity page.

Troubleshooting:

  • Look for updates on the Activity page first. The check-ins on the dashboard will sum up updates from the previous period. (The check-ins essentially say "here's what I did yesterday, and here are all the errors marked as fixed to go along with that.")
  • Check to make sure the email address that is being used in Bugsnag matches the email address that is being used in Steady. If you or a team member is using a different email address in Bugsnag, set the secondary email address in Steady to match the one used in Bugsnag.
