Install Steady as an app on your phone

Steady can be installed as an app on your phone for faster access and a native app experience as a Progressive Web App (PWA).

Installing Steady on an iPhone

  1. Open Safari (recommended) or Chrome
  2. Log into your Steady account
  3. Tap the Share button:
    1. Safari: Bottom center of screen (square with arrow pointing up)
    2. Chrome: Top right of the address bar
  4. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
  5. Tap "Add" to confirm

The Steady icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it to open Steady as an app.

Installing Steady on an Android device

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Log into your Steady account
  3. Look for the "Install" banner at the bottom of the screen and tap it
  4. If you don't see a banner: Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) → "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
  5. Tap "Install" to confirm

The Steady icon will appear on your home screen and in your app drawer.

After Installation

Once installed, Steady will:

  • Open in its own window without browser controls
  • Load faster than the web version
  • Send notifications (if you enable them)
  • Work just like a native app

Note: You'll still use your same login credentials—this is just a different way to access Steady.
