Monday.com

Set up

To set up the Monday.com integration:

  1. In Monday.com open up a board and click the Automate option at the top. In the search bar, type "Webhooks", and then click on the "When a status changes to something, send a webhook" integration.
  2. Next, visit the Account Management - Integrations page in Steady, and copy the Endpoint URL listed there under the Monday.com panel.
  3. Paste the URL into Monday.com in the Webhook URL field and select Connect
  4. In the next screen on Monday.com, change "a status" to Status and "something" to Anything or Done. (You can always change these items later.)
  5. Select Create automation
  6. Now, you'll need to paste your Monday.com API token into Steady. Click on your avatar in Monday, then select Administration
  7. Under Connections, select Personal API token
  8. Select Generate
  9. Copy the personal API token and paste it into the Monday.com panel in your Steady Account Management - Integrations section and select Save
  10. Once it is hooked up, generate some activity in Monday.com and look for events on the Activity page.

Troubleshooting

  • Look for updates on the Activity page first. The check-ins on the dashboard will sum up updates from the previous period. (The check-ins essentially say "here's what I did yesterday, and here are all the Monday.com updates to go along with that.")
  • Check to make sure the email address that is being used in Monday matches the email address that is being used in Steady. If you or a team member is using a different email address in Monday.com set the secondary email address in Steady to match the one used in Monday.
